Opened in 2013, Cash ‘o Lot Casino is s Rival powered casino run by the same folks responsible for another casino that has been operating for a few years now, Tropica Casino. My opinion of Rival casinos is generally a low one as I have seen numerous player and administrative issues with them over the years. However with several Rival casinos re-opening their doors to American players recently, I took a look at Cash ‘o Lot to see if it bucks the trend.
Software and game selection
Cash ‘o Lot offers dozens of slots, table games, video poker machines, and a few parlour games to punters throughout the world. Rival has a number of unique and interesting slot machines, including their signature series of i-Slots, which feature interactive story lines and episodes that change as you play the games. Although this can make the game seem more interesting, it’s better to think of this sort of thing as a gimmick to keep you playing the games longer.
There are however a number of other slots with unique features that are worth talking about. Hole in Won and its sequel The Back Nine, for example, are golf themed slots with a mini-golf bonus game that is reminiscent of something I might have played in my teens on the home computer. The interesting thing about this mini-game is that it is not your usual “pick-em” style bonus game, but instead a fully-fledged mini-golf game that rewards you with more money if you take less shots to get the ball into the cup. It truly is a slot machine that pays out more to skilled mini-golf players.
Cleopatra’s Coins is a 15 line slot that with a seen-it-all-before Egyptian theme, that nevertheless gives you the chance of winning a lucrative 100 free spins that are played with a 3x multiplier and which can also be re-triggered. And for those of you that like their games with ultra high variance, “go large or go home” style, will no doubt enjoy the Scary Rich series of slots which feature expanding wilds that also multiply the wins on the reels during the free spins mode.
Table games are also a decent option for those playing at Cash ‘o Lot, as the tables are nicely drawn, cards are quite large, and the action is paced just right. The games on offer include Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow Poker, Red Dog, and Casino War among others. There are no live dealer versions of these games available however. Those who enjoy playing a few hands of video poker will find seven different varieties of the game available, with selections such as Jokers and Deuces Wild meeting up with Jacks or Better or Aces and Faces. And if you are looking for something a little different, Cash ‘o Lot does offer scratch cards, bingo, keno, and Sudoku, which may serve you as a nice distraction from the main games.
Overall while not having the same production values as the modern day industry leaders like Net Entertainment orMicrogaming, the games play well at Cash ‘o Lot, the platform is stable and quick to load, and you can play both via a Windows software download, or directly in your web browser if you use a Mac or prefer not to install anything.
The biggest range of games at Cash o’ Lot Casino are its slots. Players have numerous games to choose from, starting with the innovative i-slots line. These are special video slots that offer highly interactive gameplay, often with complex storylines and unique bonus features. Cash o’ Lot Casino also contains numerous other video slots and some three-reel slot games. Some of the most popular titles are the Scary Rich series, the As the Reels Turn series, Hobo’s Hoard, Coins of Olympus, and Costume Party.
Those who want table game action can choose from several different games at Cash o’ Lot Casino. These include both single-hand and multi-hand blackjack, American and European roulette, craps, baccarat, red dog, war, and Caribbean Stud.
Video poker players should be pleased with the diversity and quality of the games at Cash o’ Lot Casino. Available games include Jacks or Better, Joker Poker, Deuces Wild, Double Joker, Tens or Better, and Aces & Faces. Each variant offers competitive paytables to ensure that players can get the most fun out of their bankrolls.
Banking, security and customer support
Cash ‘o Lot’s banking system offers several methods to deposit and withdraw from the casino. As usual American players will have to rely on debit and credit cards to get their money into their casino accounts.
Cash o’ Lot Casino makes sure that players are able to play safely. The security team have accomplished this by integrating 256-bit SSL encryption into their network. Any time a player sends the casino sensitive data (e.g. bank details, login credentials), the encryption will obscure it and make it impossible to read.
The Rival Gaming platform used by Cash o’ Lot Casino has been proven fair by numerous independent audits over the years. This means that the random number generator (RNG) used by the casino works according to natural mathematical probability.
Non-Americnas have the choice of several different e-wallets such as Skrill, Neteller, and Click2Pay. Payouts to e-wallets for non-Americans are fast, and you will often receive your money within 24 hours. The real test for an American-servcing casino though are the cash-outs for American players. In this respect I have mixed news. While the casino processes withdrawals within 24 hours, you’ll generally be waiting a week or more for a check to arrive. As is the norm for most Rival casinos they institute low weekly withdrawal limits that necessitates splitting your withdrawal into several instalments. In addition, you must be sure to read the fine print of every bonus you claim at this casino, as there is a hard $10,000 win cap on every bonus claimed unless otherwise stated, and from what I saw in the cashier the bonus win limit on specific offers is often far less than this.
Customer service is a minor drawback for me with Cash ‘o Lot, as the casino has no telephone support, and I ran into a few times where the live chat support wasn’t available in the middle of the day for an American. When that happened my enquiries were routed via email instead. The casino splits its support between a shared Rival customer support centre that all Rival white-label casinos use and its own in-house support, depending on the time of the day. In my experience those who do have an issue at Cash ‘o Lot are best off sending an email, as it seems to be the most reliable way to get help quickly. We are pleased with the customer service department at Cash o’ Lot Casino. Representatives are available 24/7 through a convenient live chat interface. This ensures that players can get the answers they need immediately at any time of day. If representatives are unusually busy, players can send an email to the casino instead and expect a reply within 8 hours at the latest.
In terms of security, all transactions and gameplay at the casino are secured using standard SSL encryption. The casino does not publish the theoretical RTP figures for any of its games, nor does it report any audited payout statistics.
In the end, Cash ‘o Lot is a casino that has a decent structure to it and some fun and engaging games, but lacks the polish and professionalism that would make it great. The usual small payment limits, win caps, and support issues that I have seen at almost all other Rival casinos are still clearly prevalent here. It is a decent option for American players but others should look elsewhere unless they love the Rival games.Visit Broker
